Gone to the Dogs!

Oh my gosh! It is fascinating the information about one's self that one can learn on the Internet! No, I'm not talking about Googling one's self - although that is very entertaining.
Via a test site found courtesy of Jade ed Gypsy, I learned that my bodacious ta-ta's were named Tweedledee and Tweedledum. On another occasion, Lecram helped me learn my true I.Q., and I then discovered that, yes, I truly was Peter Pan.
I have now discovered that I am a bitch. A pretty cool one too! No, not that kind of bitch -- although I always thought it was an acronym for Boys I'm Taking Charge Here
--not that kind of bitch -- the four-legged dog kind.

Dog Name
I am an English Cocker Spaniel

Origins
....Originally from Spain. Cockers got their name for their expertise in flushing woodcock and other small game while hunting.

Personality
The English Cocker Spaniel is a hardy, energetic and affectionate dog. Excellent with kids; gentle and playful, but does not tolerate teasing well. It is sociable with strangers, a moderate barker, and obeys respectfully the orders it is given. Generally an outgoing breed, but some individuals can be reserved. Cockers should be trained very gently, but firmly, as they are sensitive but also rather independent.

So....what kind of dog are you?

PORTUGUESE WATER DOG

ORIGINS: Portugal.
Believed to have arrived on the Iberian Peninsula with The Moors via Northern Africa. Known as Cpo d'Agua in Portugal. It is a strong water dog that can retreive fish, collect fishing tackle lost overboard, rescue people and even deliver messages between boats and shore. Found mainly in the Algarve region, where it is an invaluable member of a fisherman's crew.

PERSONALITY:
A hyper-intelligent and capable animal, blessed with many natural talents and a unique style to match. It is a superlative swimmer and fisher. However, it is somewhat apprehensive of strangers, probably oversensitive to it's rather unorthodox fur coat (which can be long and wavy or thick and curly.)

--yes, Jade.
I KNEW you would like this one!

I love that you rescue people and are somewhat apprehensive of strangers, although I haven't found you oversensitive about your coat.

And while I do agree that I am sociable with strangers and I do not tolerate teasing well, I have never had the privilege of flushing a woodcock.....Is that a Lorena Bobbitt kind of thing?

pharoah hound. the first domesticated dog in recorded history and so-named because of its resemblence to the artistic representations from that time of the god Anubis.

I am a Doberman Pinscher (German for 'bite')!! 'Good with children', but also...because I don't like being told what to do and 'bite first and think later'...not recommended around children...EH?!
Quite like this actually, as usually err on the fluffy/cute/Goofy side in these sort of quizzes...nice, but not very exciting. This quiz has obviously latched onto my dark side...MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA...HA!(well, i am a Gemini)
Don't tell me what to do or I'll bite cha!!!

I'm an Afghan Hound

Origins: Afghanistan. An ancient breed with ancestry going back to Persia and said by legend to be one of the animals taken into Noah's Ark. A member of the greyhound family it was bred for its speed and acute vision.

Personality: This elegant and beautiful breed is generally affectionate and good-natured but will not tolerate teasing. (Stop it you guys!) Intelligent and somewhat aloof it requires plenty of exercise.

Umm, speed? exercise? And don't these dogs have lots and lots of hair? Have you seen my belly? Have you seen my head? I must have made a mistake on that quiz...
