when Erynn was little, I used her as an excuse to go see Disney movies....
In that same vein (double-entendre intended)I am so glad I teach 7th grade-'cause I can use that as an excuse for having to have read this series.

I have to confess -- it IS really good. Well written.

I have yet to read it, but I love a good vampire story with sex... and it doesn't need to be spelled out. I have enough fantasy to fill the gaps. This is for kids?!?
I think the "real" audience is high school -- but the good middle school readers eat it up.
no "sex" in it -- but loads of sexual tension. Great character development, interesting storyline, blah-blah-blah.
but really -- it's all about the tension.....
ah -- my life --full of tension....
